Tech is done!
The interactive element has had its first outing, though tested by me rather than with a group of unfamiliar performers, and the piece has been played through speakers in the museum for the first time. There seemed to be a possible connectivity issue with the LEAPmotion USB cable, causing the signal to occasionally drop out, but this doesn't seem to noticeable - especially since audience members will be switching in and out of control anyway.
All in all the tech went well, after a long period of setting up including climbing all over the museum to run cables up to the signal box...
In tomorrow's dress, I will add the actors offering headphones to the audience, and finally all the elements of the piece should be in place.
